Terms of use
In effect since October 25, 2026
These terms apply to the dispola.ca website and to Dispolà’s text messages. Dispolà is operated in Quebec by Leon Talbot. By using the site, you accept them.
What Dispolà is
Dispolà shows open spots with beauty and health pros: cancellations posted by pros in the Dispolà network, and times read from businesses’ public online booking pages. Dispolà is not affiliated with any of the businesses shown, unless stated otherwise, and does not itself provide any care or service.
The spots shown
Each spot says when it was checked or posted. A spot can be taken between two checks: it is only confirmed by the business, when you book. Prices, durations and descriptions come from the business and may change; the price you pay is the business’s.
Booking
When you tap a time, you book directly with the business, on its page, under its own terms (cancellation, deposit, lateness). The appointment is an agreement between you and the business.
With the “Book” button, you ask us to book the spot for you. We do our best and text you to confirm; until you get that confirmation, nothing is booked, and we never book without your consent.
Payment
Dispolà is free for you and never takes payment. You pay the business directly, as usual. Some pros ask for a deposit to book: it is paid straight to the pro, through Stripe (see below).
Deposit and no-shows
When you book with a Dispolà Pro pro, your request is texted to them and they reply YES or NO. Until they say YES, nothing is booked. If they decline or do not reply in time, we text you and your request is cancelled.
Some pros ask for a deposit. Before you pay, the same page shows you the business’s name and address, the service, the date and time, the price, the deposit amount, what you will still owe on site, until when you can cancel for free and what happens if you do not show up. You can fix or drop your request before paying.
The deposit is paid by credit card, on Stripe’s secure page, straight to the pro. Dispolà does not receive it and never sees your card number. The deposit is taken off the price of the service.
Your deposit is refunded in full if the pro declines your request or does not reply in time, if they cancel the appointment, or if you cancel before the deadline shown when you booked. If you cancel after that deadline or do not show up, the pro may keep the deposit for the time they had set aside for you.
No other no-show fees: we never charge your card after the fact, and Dispolà cannot claim anything from you beyond the deposit shown.
When the pro confirms, you get a text confirming your appointment, with a link to all its details that you can keep and print. The appointment is a contract between you and the pro. All your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act remain, including asking your card issuer for a chargeback in the cases it provides for.
Text messages
We only text you if you asked: a spot alert, a follow-up to a request or a reminder you chose. Reply STOP at any time to stop. Your plan’s messaging rates may apply. Only give a number that is yours or that you are allowed to use.
Using the site
You may browse and share Dispolà’s pages. Agents and automated tools are welcome through the access made for them (llms.txt), at a reasonable pace. You may not overload the site, get around its protections, tamper with spots or reports, or send false requests on someone else’s behalf.
Businesses
A business shown can claim, correct or remove its page at any time, using the “Is this your clinic?” link on its page. Business names and trademarks belong to their owners; Dispolà names them only to say where the spot is.
Dispolà Pro
These terms add to the ones above when you open a Dispolà Pro account. By ticking the box when you sign up, you accept them on behalf of your business. They form the agreement between your business and Dispolà.
The tool. Dispolà Pro lets you enter your services, prices and hours, connect your calendar (Google or an iCal link) or keep it by hand, and post your open times on Dispolà. Each request reaches you by text and you reply YES or NO. You can ask for a deposit, paid through Stripe straight into your account.
What it costs. The tool is free. Dispolà’s referral fees are the ones described on the pros page, and you are never billed without a written agreement you sign beforehand. Dispolà takes no commission or fee on your clients’ payments.
Your responsibilities.
Your hours, services, prices and calendar are accurate and up to date: a posted spot must really be open. You honour the appointments you confirmed, or let your client know as soon as possible.
Your terms (deposit, cancellation deadline, no-shows) are clear, reasonable, shown before booking and lawful. The deposit is taken off the price and is no more than half the price of the service. You refund it in the cases shown. In Quebec, the Consumer Protection Act forbids charging a client no-show fees set in advance (except in restaurants): do not claim any on top of the deposit shown.
Toward your client, you are the merchant: the care, the price, taxes, your invoice, your permits, your insurance and your professional order’s rules, if any, are yours. You use your clients’ information only for their appointments; you do not send them advertising without their consent. You keep access to your phone and your account to yourself.
Dispolà as a technical intermediary. Dispolà provides the tool and passes on requests. Dispolà is not a party to the contract between you and your client, provides no care and guarantees neither that the client shows up nor that they pay. Dispolà makes reasonable efforts to keep the tool working and your spots in line with your calendar; if a sync fails, Dispolà stops posting new spots and tells you.
Your clients’ information. For information you enter or that Dispolà reads in your calendar, Dispolà acts on your behalf: it uses it only to run the tool, protects it (limited access, encrypted calendar tokens, providers bound in writing), does not keep it after the agreement ends (deleted within 30 days) and tells you without delay of any incident affecting it. Information Dispolà collects itself from a client who books is handled under our privacy policy.
Payment through Stripe. Deposits go through a Stripe account in your name. You open that account with Stripe and accept Stripe’s terms (the Stripe Connected Account Agreement) directly with Stripe. Payments go straight into your Stripe account: Dispolà receives no part of them. Stripe’s fees (as of October 25, 2026, 2.9% plus $0.30 per payment with a Canadian card, under Stripe’s pricing) are yours, withheld by Stripe, and are not returned when a deposit is refunded. Disputes and chargebacks are between you, your client and Stripe. You authorize Dispolà to create, according to your settings, payment pages and deposit refunds on your account, and to send Stripe what is needed to do so.
Ending the agreement. You can close your account at any time, at no cost, in your settings or by writing to us: your spots are removed right away. Before that, or on request, you can get your data (services, hours, manual calendar, appointments) in a structured, commonly used format. You remain responsible for appointments already confirmed: honour them or let your clients know. Dispolà may suspend or close an account that posts false spots, mistreats clients or breaks these terms, with notice by text or email, except in an emergency.
Changes for pros. A change to this section is announced to you by text or email at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you refuse it, you can close your account at no cost.
Liability
Dispolà makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that a spot is still open or answer for care given by a business. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.
Your personal information
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and how to exercise your rights.
Changes
We may change these terms; the date at the top of the page then changes. A significant change will be announced on the site before it takes effect. A change never applies to an appointment already booked.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Quebec and Canada. The French version prevails.
